Sgt. Vincent B. Friel, Marine recruiting officer stationed in Sheridan, and Miss Nellie Elizabeth Jarrard were quietly married at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Friel is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Jarrard of Buffalo, who are old settlers in this country.

W. A. Thorn is in Sheridan from Clearmont today, on a business trip.

Mrs. J. M. Hurtt and little grandson, Norton Woodrow Wilson, left on Train 42 Sunday for Kansas City.

Corporal James Spain arrived home yesterday, having been mustered out of service at Fort Russell.
