A wild and riotous night marked the passing of Old John Barleycorn in Sheridan last night. Well supplied stocks of liquor in all establishments which, until midnight, were known as saloons, have disappeared. All but seven saloons sold out stocks long before midnight.

George M. Ostrom, a member of the 148th Field Artillery who returned Saturday from Fort Russell, has resumed his position with the Sheridan Clothing company. Ostrom saw service on the Mexican border and in France.
