Dr. John Harlan Andress, former pastor of the Congregational church in Sheridan, told a large audience at the Chautauqua last night that the world would never be at peace without a League of Nations.
Everything is ready for the big picnic at the experimental farm tomorrow. Many Sheridan stores will close at noon.

Ensign N.H. Lorenzen, in charge of the local Salvation Army station, has it in mind to institute a campaign in the fall to raise funds for building a Salvation Army community house in Sheridan.
