Fire today destroyed the planing mill of the Barrett Manufacturing company on the north side of Brundage street between Custer and Conner streets. Loss is estimated at around $10,000.
Another forest fire has been raging in Wolf creek canyon since about last Sunday, and up to last night had burned over about 200 acres of heavy timber.
Contractor Frazer tomorrow morning will resume the work of concreting between the rails of the east street car track on Main street. He expects to have the work completed in five days if there are no further unforeseen delays.
