Philanthropic Sheridan business and professional men, whose names haven’t been disclosed, are considering buying the corner lots at Gould and Loucks streets now occupied by the old Central school buildings. Their view is to ultimate build a new hotel at the site.

County Commissioner A.C. Evans was awarded the contract for sprinkling the streets of Sheridan at a meeting of the city commissioners yesterday afternoon.

The Old and Young Married Folks Club entertained 30 couples at a dancing party at the Story pavilion last night in honor of Mr. and Mrs. G.A. Goforth, who have been prominent members of that society.
