A Look Back in Time: Sept. 26, 1919

Edward E. Austin, who has been associated with the Scales Motor Co. in Sheridan since his return from France two months ago, will go to Buffalo to be with the Buffalo Motor Co. Buffalo Motor Co. is a branch of the Scales Motor Co. of Sheridan.

Ranchers living in the Big Goose valley are much concerned over specifications for the Big Goose road calling for an eight-foot gravel surface. At the time subscriptions were taken, the impression prevailed that the road would be surfaced to a width of at least 18 feet.

Captain Stanley and his bride arrived in Sheridan last night. They will soon be home to their friends here.
