More than 100 boys and girls from all sections of the county are in attendance at the Boys’ and Girls’ Club Fair at the Sheridan Feed Yards. The fair, which is today only, features swine, sheep, dairy cows, fowls and a wonderful display of vegetables ranging from tiny peanuts to big pumpkins.
The many friends of Dr. and Mrs. E.I. Schindler surprised them at their home at 132 South Jefferson street last night by inviting themselves to spend the evening. The friends supplied delicious refreshments and presented the couple with a full set of aluminum kitchen ware and an extension dining table.
