Owing to adverse weather, the ballgame advertised today between Buffalo and the Sheridan Elks wasn’t played.

W.S. McPherrin, Sheridan police chief, his nephew Ray Laymon and Ole Pointer went to Lake DeSmet last night for some duck hunting.

In a letter to W.D. Fisher, secretary of the Sheridan Commercial club, the Iowa State Highway commission has promised cooperation for the portion of the proposed Custer Battlefield Scenic highway that would pass through Iowa.

Mr. Sheeley, whose ranch is between Parkman and Dayton, has installed a Delco-Light in his fine new house.
