Assurance is given the public that the available supply of coal will be equitably distributed through a central distributing agency under the direction of City Commissioner H. A. Loucks. Arrangements were made today with all coal dealers to either close their offices or place their scales at the disposal of the central agency.
The town of Clearmont is seeking incorporation. Prominent residents of that city presented a petition signed by nearly all the property owners to the county commissioners at their regular monthly meeting today. Clearmont has a population of nearly 200 people.
J. R. McChild, a traveling salesman from Billings, is in Sheridan today.
