Due to the coal shortage, Mayor Camplin has issued a proclamation to go into effect at 8 o’clock this morning that moving picture houses will be permitted to open at 8 o’clock at night and run until 10:30.

The coal situation for Sheridan has changed little in the last 24 hours. Production in the Sheridan field, outside of the country mines, continues at a standstill.

Three boys charged with breaking into the Basket Grocery store a few nights ago will appear before Judge Byrd in police court at 4 o’clock this afternoon. The boys took a quantity of candy, gum and cigarettes in the break-in.
