A Look Back in Time: Feb. 1, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 1, 1920.

Tom Davis of Dayton went to Billings today to visit John Smith, an old friend, who’s in the hospital there.

H. M. Camplin left tonight for Broadus, Mont., where he will become editor of the newspaper of that town.

The 161st anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns was celebrated by the Scotch people of Dietz in the Union Hall of that community. Mrs. Agnes Hotchkiss was hostess of a seven-course dinner which was served at 8:30 in the evening. Dancing began at 10:30.

Dean West and family have moved into the recently purchased rectory, which is located at 128 West Whitney street.
