Police Matron Jessie Tune arrested two couples last night on charges of having danced the “shimmy.” The couples are scheduled to appear in police court at 4 o’clock this afternoon. They were arrested at the first annual ball of the Rapid Auto Line at Central Hall and are the first to be arrested under the anti-shimmying ordinance passed about a month ago.
Morton Mock and H. C. Jeffers are in the city from Dayton to attend the meeting of the Farm Bureau.
