Dr. T. E. Marshall, acting county health officer, said not a contagious disease is to be found today in Sheridan. He said this is the best health condition that has existed in the city for some time.
Two guests at the Eaton ranch, who became lost in the big cave near Dayton, were finally located at an early hour Thursday more than a mile underground and were rescued.
Seventy-five members of Troops E and H of the 1st Wyoming Cavalry are preparing to leave Sheridan for the annual National Guard encampment at Basin, set for Sept. 1 to 15. Horses were shod at the corrals of the troopers yesterday afternoon and were given a thorough inspection.
