Fisher, secretary of the Sheridan Commercial club, has accepted membership on the research committee of the Associated Advertising Clubs of the World.A man charged with obstruction of a public road between Clearmont and Arvada is expected to be brought to trial in J.P. Judge Hoop’s court in Sheridan on Sept. 3. Coming from behind in the last six miles of the 17-mile hose endurance race from Sheridan to Buffalo, “Shorty” George Webber, a Buffalo contestant, rode past the judges at 9:44 o’clock this morning to win the first horse marathon ever held in this second of the country.
