Sheridan county commissioners, meeting as the county tax board were engaged this morning in making tax levies for the county to apply on this year’s business for the assessor’s office.
Three recruits were accepted for enlistment in the army at local recruiting headquarters in Sheridan this morning. They left on Train 42 for their new posts this afternoon.
E. R. Dinwiddie has been elected president of the newly organized Sheridan Country club. Peter Kooi was elected vice president; Earl Allen, treasurer; and C. L. Chapman secretary. Republican club members will meet at the Western Hotel tonight. Speeches will be made.
