Sixteen riders made a flying start from the Burlington depot at 8:40 o’clock this morning for the 10-mile horse marathon race to Clearmont for the official start of Clearmont Day. Winner of the race will receive $375.
At their weekly luncheon yesterday, Sheridan Rotarians entertained one of the largest groups of visitors to this city in a number of weeks. Among the visitors were Masons en route home from the recent meetings held in Buffalo. A total 1,865 pupils are enrolled in Sheridan schools at the end of the first week.
