Sheridan County owns and operates the Kleenburn Recreation Area that is located just east of the Acme exit of Interstate 90 north of Sheridan.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Tensleep Fish Hatchery keeps the Kleenburn Pond well stocked with catchable size Rainbow Trout. The Game and Fish stock the fish in mid to late fall to provide anglers the opportunity to catch trout while they are ice fishing at Kleenburn Pond. Kleenburn Pond also supports populations of Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Channel Catfish and Yellow Perch.
