The Sheridan Community Land Trust is inviting the public to join them on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College for the In Bloom fundraiser.
National Geographic Fellow Ronan Donovan will speak about wildlife and ecology as seen through the lens of a photographer. Donovan will tell stories and answer questions from his experience documenting Yellowstone for National Geographic.
The evening will include a live and silent auction featuring many items and experiences, including a photography lesson for four with Donovan. In Bloom will also feature a Paddle Raise to help conserve local lands and ranches.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’ Public Pulse, Sheridan Community Land Trust Executive Director Brad Bauer told listeners a little about the celebrated wildlife photographer.

The night will also feature the drawing for the winner of the Take Your Shot Raffle. That winner will receive a new Weatherby Element® Semi-Auto 12 Gauge Shotgun, which brings together the signature fit and finish of a Weatherby with “inertia-operated” action.
Land Trust Historical Program Manager Carrie Edinger told listeners that the limited tickets are going fast.
