Johnson County’s Commissioners have voted to accept an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the State of Wyoming/Wyoming Supreme Court to provide virtual private network or VPN Connections in District Court Offices.
Johnson County Clerk of District Court Paige Rhoads said there is constant discussion on secure networks in the court system, and although the district court is on a county network, they are required to also connect to the state’s network.
She explained the proposal in the MOU.
Civil Deputy County Attorney Barry Crago has reviewed the MOU and did not have any issues with it.
Rhoades also said the county’s IT Department said the county was capable of supporting the network.
The MOU was approved.
