Expansion of Meat Plant Approved by Sheridan County

The Sheridan County Commission has voted to approve a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to allow the physical and operational expansion of GLB, LLC Meat Processing located on Decker Road in Sheridan County.

County Planner Mark Reid gave more information to the commission at their last meeting.

The P&Z Commission recommended conditions concerning lighting; proper waste removal as directed by the DEQ; and business-related equipment, processes, and supplies and materials be fully enclosed in the existing structures; and that future modifications may require a new CUP.

The commission voted unanimously to approve the CUP.
