Sheridan County OKs Agreement for Bus Shelters

Sheridan County’s Commissioners voted to approve an agreement between the county and the Senior Citizens Council d/b/a the HUB on Smith, for the construction and maintenance of bus shelters on county-owned lands for its Goose Creek Transit program.

County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller gave more details.

Obermueller said the first bus shelter will be located on the county-owned property on North Main Street in Sheridan known as the old KFC site.

Commission Chair Nick Siddle spoke highly of the Goose Creek Transit program.

The agreement allows for expansion of the program to other county-owned sites in the future.
