Johnson County OKs Updated Subdivision Regs, Fees

Updated subdivision regulations and fees have been approved and accepted by the Johnson County Commission, after months of work by the Planning Commission.

County Planner Jim Waller explained the changes to the commission at their last meeting.

Waller said fees had not been raised in 15 years, and the Planning Commission felt it was time to bring the county’s fee schedule in-line with other counties in the state.

The second Resolution set a new fee schedule for various permits, paperwork and inspections associated with subdivisions.
