Sheridan County, Avis/Budget Reach Agreement on Airport Lease

A lease agreement between Sheridan County and ROVAR, LLC d/b/a Avis Rent-a-Car and Budget Car Rentals has been accepted by both parties.

Sheridan County Airport Manager John Stopka explained the agreement is for a tract of land inside the old business park at the airport

He gave more details on the agreement to the commission at their recent meeting.

The lease amount will be $750 per month with an annual 3% increase effective on January 1 of each year.

The contract has a first right of refusal clause so ROVAR can continue the contract if they so choose after the initial 10-year contract expires.
