The Town of Ranchester and Sheridan County School District #1 are wanting improvements made to a stretch of County Road 120A, also known as the Ranchester Five Mile Extension, and have asked the county commission to do so.
The commission ratified a letter to both entities during their Tuesday meeting, that said they discussed the request at their Commissioner’s Staff Meeting on Monday.
The commission is aware of the safety concerns and future growth west of Ranchester, and have asked County Engineer Ken Muller to develop a Project Delivery Report, including costs for the proposed project.
The commission, once the report is completed, will contact the two entities and schedule a meeting with all parties to discuss the report and their options.
