Sheridan County OKs Roose Minor Subdivision

A minor subdivision located roughly 2 miles south of Sheridan has been approved by the Sheridan County Commission.

County Planner Mark Reid spoke on the Roose Minor Subdivision application.

The two conditions recommended by the Planning & Zoning Commission were that (1) prior to execution of the plat by the board, that the water rights petition before the State Board of Control is approved, and (2) that a note be added to the final plat stating, “individual on-site septic tanks and leach fields shall be either built out of the groundwater protection area or have enhanced septic systems designed by a professional engineer.”

The commission approved the application with the two conditions.
