BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS – The Sheridan high school teams took on the Gillette schools the Lady Broncs dropped two four point games while the Broncs won both finishing up the weekend Saturday knocking off Thunder Basin.
Lady Broncs Head coach Ryan Sullivan says they played tough but it wasn’t enough.
The Lady Bronc defense has been really good all season now Sullivan says they need to start picking up the scoring.
A night after beating Campbell county by 13 the Broncs took a nine point halftime lead against Thunder and never gave it up winning 67-56 Head coach Jeff Martini said they shook of a slow start and got rolling.
And he said the defense really keyed the offense in the second half.
They have more league play this week at Casper Kelly Walsh Friday night then afternoon home games with Buffalo Saturday.
BH HOOPS – The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams had their weekend games postponed.
TR HOOPS – The Tongue River Lady Eagles dropped both games against Burlington and Lovell while the Eagles ran their record to 12-2 overall winning both games.
AC HOOPS – The Arvada / Clearmont Panthers and Lady Panthers played at Upton and hosted Hulett the Lady Panthers split with a win over Hulett the Panthers dropped both.
WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers competed in Moorcroft and finished 2nd 1.5 points behind Thunder Basin the Broncs had nine place winners with four champions.
They will compete in the annual Ron Thon invitational in Riverton this weekend.
BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers host duals with Campbell county and Thunder Basin tomorrow.
JUNIOR HAWKS – The Sheridan Hawks play at home this week against Cody game times Friday and Saturday are at 7:30
UW HOOPS – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys picked up win number 15 Saturday beating New Mexico 93-91 they play at Boise state tomorrow tip off at 7:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
The Cowgirls lost at Utah state 76-66 they host Boise state Wednesday night.
