The Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that occurred Friday night on Highway 338 (Decker Road) near the Highway 339 intersection that resulted in a fatality. At approximately 8 pm, the Wyoming Highway Patrol and Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an accident involving a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle. An unidentified male was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The man’s identification has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
