BPD Chief Reports Traffic Stops Result in Arrests

It has been a busy month for Buffalo Police Officers, according to Chief Sean Bissett, who said in his recent report to the city council that officers had made 43 traffic stops, resulting in two DUI arrests and one probation violation arrest.

He also reported officers had been participating in community outreach programs.

Bissett said dispatch has completed their first few weeks of their new schedule, which has gone well and resulted in good feedback from the dispatchers, who like the new schedule.

He said they are still advertising for another dispatcher and have received interest in the position.
