Johnson County Tables WBI Agreement Decision

An agreement between Johnson County and the Wyoming Behavioral Institute for services provided to the county was reviewed and ultimately tabled by the county commission.

During discussions at their recent meeting it was noted there had been an increase in the cost for service provided to the county.

County Attorney Tucker Ruby suggested the commission delay signing the contract to allow him time to review it and to look into possible alternatives to the contract.

Ruby said he believes the county may be getting charged more for services than the state is being charged and may be getting billed for expenses the county is not responsible for.

After discussions, the commission voted to table the decision until their next meeting.
