The Amie Holt Care Center (AHCC) at the Johnson County Healthcare Center (JCHC) has received a “good” survey from the Wyoming State Department of Health’s Healthcare Licensing and Surveys (HLS) program.
During the hospital board’s recent meeting, AHCC Director of Nursing Brenda Gorm reported that the survey had found some minor discrepancies that will need to be addressed but overall was very positive.
Gorm and JCHC Director of Administration Laurie Hansen said the surveyors talked about the nursing home’s response to COVID-19.
According to the Department of Health website, HLS assures that residents and patients receive quality care from healthcare facilities required to be licensed by the state.
HLS promotes health and safety through on-site inspections and complaint investigations.
