Smith Retiring from JCHC

The Hospital Board of Trustees of the Johnson County Healthcare Center were informed that two employees would be leaving the facility this month.

CEO Luke Senden said Marketing Director Jennifer Burden has resigned and the search is on to find her replacement.

Senden also said Crystal Smith, former director at the Family Medical Center, also announced she would be retiring in mid-March.

Smith spoke to the board, saying she was grateful for her 11 years with the JCHC. She has made a lot of friends and has enjoyed her time there but she is looking forward to just “chasing her kids around” for awhile.

She said somewhere around March 15 will be her final day.
