In a release issued Tuesday, the Sheridan County Commission announced that the treasurer’s office will be closed this Friday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to noon for the funeral service for Frank A. Mediate, Jr., who is the father of County Treasurer Carol Grandahl.
During the announcements portion of the agenda at their meeting Tuesday, Commission Chairman Lonnie Wright announced the recipients of this year’s commissioners’ scholarships.
Wright announced he had received the fiscal year 2022-23 budget in accordance with state statute.
The courthouse will be closed on Monday, May 30 for Memorial Day.
Commissioner Terry Cram reminded veterans that next Monday, May 23 is the deadline for them to apply for a partial exemption from their property taxes.
