A pilot is dead after crashing his experimental aircraft storage facility in southeast Cheyenne.
The Cheyenne Police Department says at around 8am on Monday (May 30th), officers and members of the Cheyenne Fire Department, responded to the scene on Crook Avenue.
An investigation revealed the pilot was the lone occupant of the plane, and died from injuries he sustained from the crash.
A fire broke out at the time of the crash and was extinguished.
The investigation has been turned over to the National Traffic Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration.
