Sheridan Community Land Trust is participating in the WyoGives donation drive on July 13.
WyoGives – an initiative of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network — is a statewide 24-hour online fundraising event designed to bring the state together as one community in fellowship to raise money and awareness for Wyoming’s nonprofits.
Through the donations received from generous donors, SCLT has been able to cut new trails, develop and construct parking lots for those trail heads.
During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, SCLT Director of Marketing and Development Chris Vrba told listeners a little about how the organization utilized the donations to build Red Grade, one of the organization’s most publicized and beloved trails.

SCLT’s mission is to preserve the heritage of open spaces, healthy rivers and creeks, working ranches, wildlife habitat, and history, while expanding recreation opportunities to connect people with the places they enjoy visiting. According to Vrba, without donations from the community, the trails that so many enjoy wouldn’t be a reality.

On July 13, the WyoGives website will accept donations for hundreds of Wyoming nonprofits for just 24 hours.
