The Sheridan City Council will soon be considering awarding the bid for the City’s 2022 pavement maintenance project. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer provided councilors and Mayor Rich Bridger with details of the project during the recent council study session.

Mercer said the City received sealed bids for the project and the bid opening took place on July 13. Staff is recommending the project be awarded to Simon Contractors, the lowest qualified bid, in the amount of $1.3 million. The bid award will be considered by the City Council Monday night.
