Buffalo Council OKs Grant Applications

The Buffalo City Council voted to approve three resolutions to apply to the State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) for American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) Grant funding for projects within the city.

The first project is for the replacement of the water distribution line and sewer line on Sunset Avenue from Park Avenue to Cedar Street.

The second application is for the replacement of remote read water meters throughout the city that can be read via satellite.

The last is for the replacement of the water main on Main Street from Fort Street to Hart Street.

The council approved the resolutions and the applications have been submitted to the SLIB.
