The Johnson County Cemetery District Board has voted to approve the nomination of John Zorbas as vice-president of the board.
During their meeting this week, Chairman John Hanson brought up the subject and nominated Zorbas for the position, which the board then approved.
Hanson has been the president since he was elected in April, when Zorbas stepped down.
Craig Wetterlund was also elected as the vice-president of the board at that time and served until he resigned from the board last month, creating the necessity to fill the vice-president’s position.
