The deadline to file for races in Johnson County for the General Election closed at 5 p.m. Monday, and are now set for the November election.
More candidates filed on Monday just before the deadline.
There are two seats available on the Buffalo City Council, Johnson County Fire District #1 board, the Powder River Conservation District, and the Powder River Fire District.
Three seats are available on the Clear Creek Conservation District, Hospital District, Rural Health Care District, and the Senior Citizen Service District.
There are four seats available on the Cemetery District and Johnson County School District boards.
