Johnson County Healthcare Center CEO Luke Senden updated the board of trustees on the employment situation and some new employees that will be starting in the coming weeks.
Senden talked about a new provider that will start September 16 which will help an ongoing issue the facility has had for quite some time.
Senden also said there are open positions for a human resources manager which he said would be offered a position, and a lab manager position which they will be inteviewing for this week.
He reported that departments in the facility have been short-staffed over the last couple of years, and employees have accumulated Paid Time Off (PTO).
Senden suggested the JCHC allow employees to cash out their PTO, which the board approved.
