Sheridan Commission Approves Cremer as P/T Magistrate

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have approved a part-time magistrate for Sheridan County within the Fourth Judicial District.

At their Tuesday meeting, the commission was presented with an appointment request from Circuit Court Judge Shelley A. Cundiff for Alex Cremer, according to the written request.

County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller spoke on behalf of Judge Cundiff, who was unable to attend the commission meeting.

Cremer is the Law Clerk to Judge Ben Kirven of the Fourth Judicial District, and is an attorney in good standing with the Wyoming State Bar, according to the request.

Cundiff said he will be called upon to assist with court should she be unavailable for a court proceeding.
