At their regular meeting Monday night in Kaycee, the Johnson County School Board discussed legal services and who will provide them for the district in the future.
Superintendent Charles Auzqui explained that it became necessary to find legal representation when Ben Kirven was appointed as a judge in the Fourth Judicial District.
The choices for the district, according to Auzqui, were to keep Kirven & Kirven or to seek other legal teams to provide legal services for the district.
The board voted to renew Kirven & Kirven to provide legal services for the school district.
