Veteran Village effort is looking for an executive director

September 13, 2022

Veteran Village – AMNACS is working and raising funds to build a community consisting of 50 individual houses for homeless veterans in Sheridan County, with the vision to be a physically, mentally and socially safe, independent living environment supporting veterans.

According to AMNACS, they have recently been granted two major gifts. The Roberts’ Family Foundation and the Homer A. and Mildred S. Scott Foundation have each funded a third of the salary for a new, full-time, executive director.

“We are incredibly grateful to both foundations for their support of our vision and their generosity which will bring in a talented executive director,” Interim Executive Director Kristen Marcus said in a release.

The organization has opened up a nation-wide search for a full-time executive director; the application can be found by clicking here.
