Tongue River and Big Horn Football Teams Prepare For Torrington And Wheatland

September 30, 2022

Tongue River took care of business last week at home vs. Newcastle, by a score of 30-to-7.

Eagle Coach Steve Hanson says the team played well and they’re not letting the fact that they’re still undefeated get to their egos.

TR hosts Torrington in a 2 o’clock game this afternoon.

Hanson says so far, this season has been a down year for the Trail Blazers compared to the past 2 seasons, but that’s no excuse for TR to look past them.

Last week Torrington was at Big Horn and the Rams buried them by a score of 42-to-7.

BH Coach Kirk McLaughlin says as the season has been progressing, that loss to Lovell 4 weeks ago isn’t all that bad anymore and the seniors have demonstrated that they’ve learned a lot since then.

The Rams are home again this week as they entertain Wheatland.

Coach McLaughlin says the Bulldogs may have a 2-and-2 record, but they’re better than their record indicates.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6pm.
