During their regular meeting this week, the Johnson County Cemetery District Board voted to accept and approve a new agreement with Chanda Rule to continue providing bookkeeping services to the board.
She explained the need for the new contract.
According to Rule the remainder of the contract will be exactly as before, with the billing entity the only change.
She said the fire district wanted to reward her service by getting her county benefits through the full-time position.
After discussions, the board voted to approve and sign the new contract.
