The planned cremation garden at Willow Grove Cemetery is moving forward, according to an update given to the Cemetery District Board during their last meeting.
Board member John Zorbas updated the rest of the board, saying there are two marble walls that have been ordered and are expected to be delivered in March.
The board has not determined the cost for purchasing a niche in the creamtion garden wall, but did discuss the estimate would be aound $300 or roughly the same cost as a regular burial.
Zorbas refuted an amount of $3,000 per niche that has been discussed in the community, and said they have not yet discussed the amount, believing it appropriate only after the wall has been installed.
