During their Consent Agenda portion of their regular meeting Monday night the Johnson County School Board passed the final Board of Cooperative Higher Education Services (BOCHES) Agreement.
The original agreement, between Sheridan County School District #1, Johnson County School District #1, Sheridan College, and Gillette College, needed to be rewritten to exclude Gillette College after their decision to leave the Northern Wyoming Community College District to form their own district.
The new agreement specifies that the new board will be known as the Sheridan- Johnson Board of Cooperative Higher Educational Services.
The agreement also outlines the services to be rendered by the board to include, but are not limited to, cooperative services between the member districts and college.
Such services may include, but need not be limited to, post-secondary educational services, vocational-technical education, adult education, and services for children with disabilities.
