A Sheridan High School Lady Bronc Swimmer will be competing in the pool for at least a few more years.

Olivia Dannhaus has signed her letter of intent to swim at Colorado State University Pueblo.

This past season she was the 4A State Runner-up in the 100 yard breaststroke, which earned her all-state honors.

She says she’s been swimming for about 10 years, and although she had also been contacted by Valparaiso, the ThunderWolves were more attentive.

“I really like the coach there because she’s passionate about what she’s doing. It gets hard to find a good coach in some areas and so I was really happy with the coach and how she was and the location is really nice too, because I have family near Pueblo and I’ve always wanted to go back to Colorado, because I was born there.”

Dannhaus says she is considering a major in engineering.
