The Johnson County Commission has appointed interested parties to serve on various county boards and commissions.
Although there was good interest in most, some of those filing failed to meet all of the criteria to serve on the boards.
There were no letters of interest filed for openings on the Recycling Board, but commission liaison Bob Perry said he will be recruiting for those positions and talking to a few that showed interest in serving.
Appointments:
Airport Board: Jacqueline Iberlin.
Buffalo Trails Board: Phil Gonzales (re-appointment).
Fair Board: John Collins, JR Crozier (re-appointment).
Mountain Plains Heritage Park: Megan Boggs.
One Percent Board: Chris Whitney, Linda Greenough.
Planning & Zoning Commission: Travis Pearson.
Predator Control Board: Rod Litzel (representing sportsmen).
Solid Waste Board: Jim Gripp, Dan Rogers, Tom Ostlund.
Weed & Pest Board: Dick Gould (re-appointment).
