Alli Ligocki scored 19 points and Adeline Burgess chipped in with 11, to lead the Sheridan Lady Bronc basketball team to a 51-39 win vs. Green River in the first round of the 2023 4A State Tournament.
Sheridan shot 43.6% from the field compared to GR’s 33.3%.
The Lady Broncs won the turnover battle (13-18) and thus scored more points off of the turnovers (17-7), despite being outrebounded (33-26).
Sheridan advances to the semi-finals vs. Thunder Basin on Friday, March 10th at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper.
Tip-off is scheduled for 4:30pm.
