Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett gave an update on the recent burglaries in and around the city, saying his department’s cooperation with another agency has led to an arrest of an individual allegedly responsible for them.
He said February was a busy month for the department, with 2,774 calls of which officers responded to 664.
Cooperation between the police department and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office has led to arrests where several ounces of methamphetamine was seized.
He said without the two agencies working together, the arrests and seizures probably wouldn’t have happened.
Bissett said those high level targets aren’t just in Johnson County or in the State of Wyoming, but in other states where local law enforcement is working with the other state’s agencies to build cases and make arrests.
